Settecento and Zona Blu: an evening uniting community, prevention, and a female perspective.
On Saturday, November 22nd, [SETTECENTO] hosted Evento Uno, the gala dinner promoted by Zona Blu in support of the “Prevention is Cure” project: an intense, well-attended, and meaningful evening, culminating in the donation of a portable ultrasound machine and two computer workstations to the Casa di Cura San Francesco in Bergamo.
A significant achievement, born from the commitment of a group of women who deeply believe in the culture of prevention, who through the evening successfully united local communities, healthcare, and the community.
The value of a choice: a commitment to prevention
Alessandra Gotti’s membership in Zona Blu is not formal, but deeply rooted in her identity. The project was born from a shared vision with the other founders—Michela Patrini, Savina Baschenis, Anita Pezzotta, and Laura Castoldi—and is rooted in the desire to bring a new way of talking about health to the Bergamo area: active, conscious, and concrete.
Hosting the project’s first major gala dinner was not only an honor for [SETTECENTO] but also a gesture consistent with the values that have always guided the organization: hospitality, personal care, and a focus on relationships, fostering a sense of well-being that goes beyond the experience of hospitality:
“A place can become part of change when it chooses to be a meeting point for the community.”
“Prevention is Cure”: an evening of testimonials, science, and life stories
The evening opened with a moving moment, “The Story”: a series of talks that intertwined sports, medicine, and personal experiences.
Michela Patrini guided the audience into the heart of Zona Blu’s mission, reminding them that prevention is a gesture of trust and shared responsibility.
From here, the voices of athletes like Simone Trussardi and Francesco Nicotra brought stories of resilience to the stage, while doctors from the Casa di Cura San Francesco offered a scientific perspective on the value of physical activity and cardiovascular prevention.
The power of philanthropy and collaboration
Fondazione BCC Milano, the project’s main supporter, chose “Prevention is Cure” as the first completed initiative in its new philanthropic mission. This powerful signal confirms the credibility and impact of Zona Blu.
The official announcement of the donation to the Casa di Cura San Francesco was a symbolic moment that captures the essence of the project: when different skills, visions, and sectors come together, the community truly benefits.
Zona Blu: a far-sighted project
Zona Blu is a civic project born in Bergamo to promote healthy lifestyles, awareness, and prevention, inspired by the principles of the Blue Zones, the places around the world where longevity is most widespread.
It is a network of female entrepreneurs and professionals who combine their skills, stories, and insights to bring concrete and measurable action to the local community.
Alessandra Gotti is an active part of this journey, contributing her entrepreneurial experience and [SETTECENTO] as an open, welcoming, and wellness-focused space.
The 2025 edition of the project concluded with significant success, but attention is already turning to 2026 and the new initiatives that will emerge from the dialogue between the local community, healthcare, and the community.
“Hosting Evento Uno was a privilege and a responsibility: proof that we are much more than a hospitality facility.
[SETTECENTO] is a gathering point, a facilitator of ideas, a place where the local community speaks and takes care of itself.
